DescriptionFree blown jar of blue-green translucent glass with small bubbles. Squat rounded body with deep horizontal shoulder, short wide neck and rim broad, almost flat and turned out, with fire-polished rim. Ring base pulled down and turned under; tooled against bottom of vessel. Slight kick with sharp tool mark in center and pontil scar. 16 small trailed handles of deep blue glass with fine red vertical stripes. Handles attached at outer edge of shoulder and at rim edge, looped and folded back at rim. One handle broken off, leaving chips at shoulder and rim. Narrow thread of glass wound 3 times around neck of vessel. Very light allover iridescence.
