DescriptionMolded (3 part: 2 for body, 1 for bottom) and free blown oinochoe, transparent dark blue. Body of vessel decorated with design set in six vertical panels. Panels contain 2 amphorae, an oinchoe (?), a patera, crossed thyrsoi and pan pipes all possibly connected to the worship of Dionysos. Gadrooning at bottom and on shoulder. Tall neck and trailed handle just below rim and at shoulder with two trails; a pulled vertical finger stop at rim. Rim everted but folded inward. Flat base carries two concentric rings and a cenral boss. Discoloration on one side of vessel, and a small portion of shoulder missing.On View
