DescriptionRed-figure Lekythos, tall cylindrical with small disc foot and narrow neck with bell-shaped mouth. Vertical handles reaching from mouth to shoulder. Decorated with scene of possibly Zeus, wearing short chiton with cloak draped over arm and holding staff, pursuing possibly Aegina dressed in chiton, himation, and stephone, hands raised in surprise. On shoulder, palmette and vine scroll pattern bordered above by ovulo band. Main scene bordered above and below by band of meanders and crossed squares. Edge of foot reserved.On View
