Description此瓶以粉彩绘九只鲜桃结实于枝叶花间，桃实硕大饱满、桃花粉嫩盛开，画面疏密有致，色彩粉润鲜艳，一派生机盎然的景象。瓶底青花书“大清乾隆年制”六字三行篆书款。桃在中国传统文化中是一种吉祥之物。传说桃木可驱鬼，桃实食之则可延年益寿，桃实遂成为长寿的象征。“九”在中国传统文化中为阳数之极，在中国古代，多以“九”字呼应帝王“九五之尊”，故清代皇帝圣寿的贡品等，也多以“九”计。九桃合绘，寓意“万寿无疆”。
The delicate pink in the painting illustrates the development of new colors in the early part of the eighteenth century. Opaque white derived from a lead arsenite, and pale pink tinted with bits of gold were added to the palette and combined with existing colors to create a range of hues.
