DescriptionMinai Ware bowl. Theme of decoration shows in center. A procession is led by a blacksmith named Kawa holding a banner. Faridun follows on the cow Birmaya holding his ox-headed mace. Behind, walks the dethroned tyrant Zahhak as prisoner. Snakes which grow from his shoulders encircle his head. In the foreground is a stream with swimming men and fish. In the background are trees and birds. Border contains stylized scripts with palmettes. Same border is used on exterior. Body is decorated with arabesques. Opaque white glaze.On View
