DescriptionFive figures, two female and three male, lament Christ's death as they place His body in a tomb. The Virgin is at Christ's right, an expression of grief on her face, her right hand placed under the wound in His chest. Mary Magdalen kneels at right and kisses Christ's left hand. A male figure stands behind Christ looking upward, tears on his face. Two other male figures kneel at left.
