DescriptionLandscape with view of hunting party resting before a sculpture garden. A bird perches on the outstretched arm of man on horseback in left foreground. Several horses, attended by men, prance in front of man on horseback. A dead deer and several dogs lie in center of foreground. A large party of figures rest at right. Some stand, some sit and some are reclining. The sculpture garden, in the left middleground, contains sculptures of two cherubs supporting an open shell which holds third cherub, a standing nude holding a shield with an outstretched arm and a partially draped female with three children. A row of trees are behind the sculpture. A town and hilly landscape are in the background.
