Giza Pyramids: Mastaba Tomb: G 2110 Nefer
Mycerinus, or the Pyramid of King Menkaure, is the third and smallest Giza pyramid.
The Giza Pyramids form one part of a vast necropolis, or city of the dead, that housed hundreds of individual tombs of Egypt’s governing elite during the Old Kingdom (Dynasties 4-6, about 2630-2250 BCE).
The Giza Pyramids are located just outside modern Cairo. These towering structures are most likely the best known archaeological monuments in the world. However, they form merely one part of a vast necropolis, that housed hundreds of individual tombs of Egypt's administrative and governing classes.
