DescriptionSaint Jerome, at left wearing a reddish-brown garment and hat, seated at a reading desk, an open book before him. On the table, which is covered with a green cloth, are an hourglass, a letter in Latin and a rosary. Facing forward, and reclining on the floor in front of the desk in the lower right foreground, is a lion. On the open bookshelves, behind the desk are stacks of books, a blue and gold jar, a glass bottle and an astrolabe.On View
