It is hand sewn. Decoration consists of fine fringes of leather on collar, capelet (which has an extra sewn-on row of fringe part way down as well as fringe around lower edge), sleeves, waistband, hem and down front opening (where the fringe is partially unsewn). Beaded decoration includes a border pattern around the bottom edge worked over three silk ribbon bands (pink, red), over the waistband, on cuffs, capelet and collar. Beaded designs recall plant forms and four-petaled blossoms emerging from round hillocks. Short leather ties inside front opening.</value></field><field label="Classifications" name="classification"><value>Costumes</value></field><field label="Id" name="id"><value>13557</value></field><field label="Source ID" name="sourceId"><value>808</value></field><field label="Last Updated" name="recordLastUpdated"><value>2025-09-15T17:33:48.213</value></field><field label="Exhibitions" name="exhibitions"><value>First Nations and the Creation of Culture</value></field></object>
