Curator NotesThis is the popular song "Oh Where Oh Where Has My Little Dog Gone." It is a German piece, "The Lauterbach Waltz," and its recasting with English words first appeared in a publication by Septimus Winner in 1864. Henry Reed plays it in waltz time.
