DescriptionCope, composed of two different types of five shaft green silk damasks and patched with a third. The late- seventeenth century damask of the orphrey is more blue in color than the earlier silks of the body of the cope and the patch. Silk and metallic galloon outlines orphrey and shield. Shield lined with glazed natural linen, cope with blue linen. Two metal hooks as fasteners.
