DescriptionLarge silver disk intricately decorated with four repousse concentric bands surrounding a burnished plain center boss. The inner band is composed of pairs of human headed serpents separated by long-beaked birds; the following band with fish-bodied Chimu warriors surrounded by four small birds and alternating with opposed feline heads; the next band with seated lords wearing flaring lunate headdresses separated by double bird-headed snakes; the outermost with pairs of human-headed serpents separated by various birds. Four pairs of perforations exist on the interior of the disk and one pair on the perimeter.
