DescriptionFork with four tines and shaped handle, decorated on front with the Vanderbilt arms below a helmet and foliate mantle surmounted by an acorn crest, and on the back with the monogram W.K.V. The front of the stem is decorated with berried laurel enclosing three hounds and a reclining figure; the back has hunting trophies and tassels above berried foliage which ends at a swag with a pendant oak branch above a lion pelt drop.
